Crisp, clean and refreshing, this German Pilsner showcases the finest quality pilsner malt and German hops. Straw coloured and exquisitely balanced it has a malty sweetness and traditional hop aroma and flavours instilled from the Hallertau noble hop variety. Our Pilsner is a perfect beer for foods that are sweet and spicy.

Ingredients


Grain:

  • 100% Pilsner malt


Hops:

  • Neutral bittering to 26 IBUs at 60 minutes

  • 3.5g/L - Hallertauer - whirlpool at 80C

  • 3.5g/L - Mittelfrueh - whirlpool at 80C


Yeast:

  • W34/70

Basics

Target OG: 1.048

Target FG: 1.010

Est ABV: 4.9%

IBUs: 40

Method

Mash:

  • Step Mash

    • 30mins at 62C

    • 30mins at 67C

    • 10mins at 72C

  • Temp: 66C

  • Duration: 60 minutes


Ferment:

  • Temp: 12C

  • 10 weeks lagering!
